What are "DRUMS SOURCES"?

"Drums Sources" are quality recorded audio drum tracks, performed by professional drummers and recorded in a professional studio, all done in a vaiety of genres and styles, and for different tempos, that you can download and use for your own music !

Recording drums is one of the most important but difficult stages in a recording project. It can easily be the difference between an amateur result and a professional one. Getting a good drum track to your project is reliant on two important factors, first... you need a professional drummer! someone who can really create the magic and knows how to "bring it" when you click on the recording button. Second... even if you do have access to a great drummer (or you are one yourself), you can't really get a properly recorded drums session in your home studio or in a mediocre one... if you want that professional sound, you need a top quality recording studio to get you those professional drums sources.

Getting access to a professional drummer, and recording a drum track at a top quality studio, can be an expensive adventure. So what are the alternatives... well, some use midi plugins that can create a nice track, that's absolutely fine, but that will never sound like a real live recorded drums track!

So... HOW DOES IT WORK AND WHAT TO EXPECT (IMPORTANT NOTES PLEASE READ)

1. Simply chose the DRUMS SOURCES TRACK that sounds the right one to your own music, download it, and you get the full range

    of drum sources files (Bass Drum track, Snare Track, Hi-Hat, Overheads, Room Ambiance mics, and many more), as they

    were created and recorded in the pro-studio. 

2. Every track is basically a full song drum track recorded, so you'll find it includes different variations to the principle groove,

    fill-ins, transitions, breaks, and more in each of those.

3. When you download a specific drums souce track, you download quality 44,100 24bit .WAV files. which are set for a specific

    style and for a specific tempo.

3. As these are basically generic recordings, and were done at a specific tempo, you can edit them in your own DAW as you see

    fit... move sections, copy parts, delete, duplicate... whatever you want to do, there are no restrictions, and you can edit it to

    accomodate your own song.

4. You can also adjust the audio tempo of the files, this can be done with any of the known DAWs (using "AudioWrap" or "Time

    Stretch" in Cubase, Protools, Logic...), but do note that when doing that, if you adjust it too much it will reduce the quality of the

    recordings, so we recomend up to 15% adjustment of the tempo (meaning, if the tempo of the original track was set at 120 BPM,

    we recommend an adjustment of up to 18 BPM to the tempo, so anywhere between 102 BPM to 138 BPM is definitely within our

    recommended range.
